What it does

Prescription retinoic acid, the form of vitamin A the skin actually uses. It is the most studied topical treatment for both acne and sun damage, and the strongest retinoid most people will ever use.

How to use it

Only as prescribed, at night, on fully dry skin. Expect dryness and peeling for the first few weeks, keep the rest of the routine plain while you adjust, and wear SPF daily. Not for use during pregnancy.
