What you can expect from this site, and what you can't.

Where the data comes from

Product names, brands, prices, sizes, shades, descriptions and photos come from our partner retailers’ product feeds, which they provide through the Awin affiliate network. The best-seller order is the retailers’ own. Key ingredients are read from each product’s name and description rather than a full ingredient list, so treat them as a guide. The shade picks for each personal color season and the products in the look breakdowns are our own editorial choices.

We show no ratings or reviews. No Korean review platform licenses its data, and we will not invent them.

Not medical or dermatological advice

The ingredient conflict checker applies general rules about how cosmetic actives interact. It is educational, it does not know your skin, and it is not a substitute for a dermatologist. A “safe” result is not a promise that a product will suit you, and nothing here accounts for allergies, prescription treatments, pregnancy or existing skin conditions. Patch test, read the actual label on the actual bottle, and consult a professional for anything that matters.

Accuracy

Prices and stock are refreshed from retailer feeds once a day and can be wrong or out of date. Brands reformulate without renaming products, and the label in your hand always wins over what we show. Verify anything you are relying on, particularly if you have an allergy.

Trademarks and brands

Brand and product names are the trademarks of their owners. We use them to identify and compare products, which is referential use. None of these brands sponsors, endorses or is affiliated with Metic Beauty. Product photos are shown under our retailer partners’ affiliate terms, for the purpose of linking to their listings.

Makeup looks

The Get The Look page shows Instagram posts by makeup artists and beauty brands, embedded with Instagram’s own embed tool; each post and its photos belong to its author and stay on Instagram. The products listed beside a post are only those the post itself credits, matched to listings our partners sell, and a credited shade no partner stocks is marked as such. The people pictured are not affiliated with Metic and have not endorsed it. If you wrote a post shown there and would like it taken down, contact us and we will remove it.

Your account

You need an account to post, comment or like, and you must be 16 or over to have one. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. One person, one account; accounts are not transferable, and usernames are permanent.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing admin@meticbeauty.com from the address on it. We can suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaks the community guidelines, and will close one immediately for anything illegal.

What you post stays yours

You keep the copyright in everything you write here and every photo you upload. Posting does not transfer ownership of anything.

You do grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display and distribute your post on this site, and to show an excerpt of it elsewhere on the site — in a board listing, on your profile, or in a link preview. That license exists so that showing your post to other people is not itself a breach of your copyright. It covers nothing else: we do not sell your content, sub-license it, put it in advertising, or use it to train anything. It ends when you delete the post, except for copies already cached or archived by others, which we cannot reach.

By posting you confirm that:

• the words are yours, or you have the right to post them;
• you took the photographs yourself, or have permission — brand and retailer product photography is their copyright and does not become postable by being on the internet;
• you have disclosed it in the post if a brand gave you the product, paid you, or you earn from a link. This is required by the US Federal Trade Commission and applies to you personally.

What other members post

The community is written by its members, not by us. We do not check posts before they appear, and a post is the view of whoever wrote it — not ours, not a recommendation, and not verified. Someone describing what a product did to their skin is describing their skin. Treat it as you would any stranger’s account.

Reporting is how content reaches us. Anything reported is reviewed by a moderator, and we remove what breaks the guidelines. Removed content is replaced with a note rather than vanishing, so a thread stays readable.

Copyright complaints

If something posted here infringes your copyright, email admin@meticbeauty.com with the URL of the material, identification of the work it copies, your contact details, and a statement that you believe in good faith the use is unauthorized and that the information is accurate. We act on valid notices promptly and will tell the member what was removed and why, so they can respond if we have it wrong.

Buying through this site

We do not sell anything. Links to retailers hand you off to a separate company with its own terms, and your purchase is entirely between you and them — including payment, shipping, customs, returns and refunds. Some links may pay us a commission, as set out in our affiliate disclosure.

Liability

This site is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from relying on information here — including a reaction to a product, a purchase you regret, a price that had changed, or anything another member posted. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

If something here is wrong, we would rather hear it than not. Email admin@meticbeauty.com and we will correct it.
