PHA (Gluconolactone / Lactobionic Acid)

What it does
Gluconolactone and lactobionic acid exfoliate like AHAs, but their larger molecules penetrate more slowly, so they sting far less. They also draw in water, which is why PHAs are the usual suggestion for sensitive skin that cannot tolerate glycolic acid.
How to use it
Most skin types can use them daily. Apply after cleansing and before serums.
