A rich, whipped-cream foaming cleanser from The Face Shop’s Rice Water Bright line, with rice extract and rice bran oil.

Rice Water Bright is The Face Shop’s rice cleansing line, made to brighten and nourish dry skin. This foam starts as a thick, whipped-cream-like paste that lathers up with a little water into a soft, dense foam, which takes off makeup and the day’s impurities. Rice extract, rice bran oil and soapwort leaf extract sit in a classic soap-style base of fatty acids and potassium hydroxide, so it rinses clean and leaves skin feeling soft.

How to use

Morning and night

    Squeeze

    Squeeze a small amount of the whipped paste onto wet hands.

    Lather

    Add a little water and work it into a soft, dense foam.

    Massage

    Massage over the face in gentle circles to lift makeup and impurities.

    Rinse

    Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Good to know

  • Contains fragrance (including hexyl cinnamal, a listed fragrance allergen) and sodium lauryl sulfate.
  • It is a soap-style foam (fatty acids with potassium hydroxide), which some dry or sensitive skin finds tightening. Follow with your usual toner and moisturiser.
  • Keep it out of the eyes; rinse with water if any gets in.
