Product details

Four Dear Darling Oil Tint bottles from sheer pink to cherry red on a white table between a glass dish of golden oil and clear oil beads

Glossy + juicy

An oil lip tint that coats lips in a dazzling, plump glossy film while its colour stains through.

Etude’s Dear Darling Oil Tint is a lip-layering tint that looks like gloss and wears like a stain. A rich blend of glossy oils gives lips a wet, plumped-up shine and a moist, smooth feel, while vivid colour from bright red to brilliant pink tints the lips underneath. Layer it on its own or over other lip colours.

What’s inside

The ingredients doing the work

  • High-gloss oils

Thick, cushiony glossy esters lead the list. They give the tint its plump, mirror-like shine and help it cling to the lips.

No. 1, 2 of 11 on the list

  • Smoothing oils

A light oil and a rich emollient that keep lips feeling moist and smooth under the colour.

No. 3, 4 of 11 on the list

  • Stain + colour

A staining dye tints the lips themselves, while lake pigments add the vivid colour you see in the glossy layer.

How to use

Full lip or gradient

  1. 1

    Wipe

Draw out the applicator and wipe it on the rim to set how much tint you pick up.

  2. 2

    Full lip

For full colour, sweep it along your lip line and over the whole lip.

  3. 3

    Gradient

For a gradient, tap it onto the centre of your lips and blend it out softly.

  4. 4

    Layer

Add two or three even coats for a more dazzling, plump glossy finish.

Good to know

  • Shades: 01 Real Cherry, 02 Plum Berry, 03 Neon Pink and 05 Red Oil.
  • Contains fragrance, with linalool and limonene.
  • It still stains like a tint, so wipe spills off clothes and skin straight away.
