The name is the formula: Dr. Althea pairs a patented peony extract with four nourishing ingredients and seven types of hyaluronic acid. Avocado, kale and mugwort extracts join them to soothe uneven, irritated skin and leave it soft and moisturised, with no artificial fragrance or colourants.

How to use

The last step of your routine

    Prep

    Cleanse, then apply your toner and serums.

    Squeeze

    Squeeze out a short line of the white cream.

    Spread

    Smooth it evenly over your face.

    Pat

    Pat gently until absorbed, adding a little more on dry areas.

Good to know

  • Made for normal to dry skin types, per the tube.
  • No artificial fragrance, colourants or preservatives, per Dr. Althea. It does contain geranium flower oil, an essential oil, with its natural fragrance compounds citronellol, geraniol and linalool. Skip it if your skin reacts to essential oils.
  • Dr. Althea has since released a Ver.2 formula with ectoin; this page describes the original formula shown in the photo.
