Jelly + pearl

A moist, jelly-based highlighter pressed into a snowflake, for a sheer, transparent glow without powder fall-out.

CLIO took its cue from two kinds of light, a dazzling jewel and a snowflake catching the sun. Fine pearl in several sizes sits in a moist, jelly-like base, so the colour builds clearer the more you blend and grips skin instead of dusting off it.

  • Fine pearl

    Pearl particles in a range of sizes reflect light from several angles, for a sparkle that looks dimensional rather than glittery or chalky.

    Water and glycerin set into a soft gel with gellan gum and calcium chloride, giving the pan its moist, springy texture that won’t dust or flake.

How to use

Pick up, touch, extend

  1. 1

    Pick up

    Swirl a brush lightly over the pan to pick up a modest amount.

  2. 2

    Touch

    Tap it lightly onto the high points of the face, such as the T-zone and the C-zone around the eyes.

  3. 3

    Extend

    Sweep it along the brow bone or collarbone for a glowing body, or pat it over the eyelid as a sheer shadow.

Clear, moist, lit from within

A transparent sheen that sits on the skin, not on top of it.

Good to know

  • Shades: 01 Gold Sheer, a subtle pearly gold; 02 Fairy Pink, a clear point pink; 03 Frozen Crystal, white that flashes icy blue; 04 Grace Opal, a pink cream that shifts with the angle; 05 Peach Sapphire, a warm orange-peach; and 06 Violet Ruby, a light, gem-like purple.
  • CLIO suggests 04 Grace Opal for the cheeks and nose and 05 Peach Sapphire for the eyes and nose, or the two mixed together.
  • The colour is sheer on the first pass and grows clearer with each layer, so build it slowly.
