Product details

A pink jar of Banila Co Clean It Zero Original Cleansing Balm on a pink table beside acerola cherries and a bamboo leaf

Melt + rinse

The original sherbet cleansing balm that melts into oil and lifts off makeup, sunscreen and the day.

Clean It Zero Original is the balm that started Banila Co’s line. The pink sherbet texture turns to oil the moment it meets skin, dissolving makeup and impurities, then rinses clean with water. Banila Co calls it a 3-in-1: it takes off makeup, cleanses and leaves skin hydrated.

Removes makeup, cleanses and hydrates, per Banila Co

How to use

The first cleanse

  1. 1

    Scoop

Take a scoop of balm with the spatula. Keep hands and face dry.

  2. 2

    Melt

Massage it over your face; the sherbet melts into oil and dissolves makeup.

  3. 3

    Emulsify

Add a little lukewarm water and keep massaging until it turns milky.

  4. 4

    Rinse

Rinse well, then follow with your usual foam cleanser.

Every trace, gone

The cult first cleanse: one scoop melts down long-wear makeup and sunscreen, then rinses away without a greasy film.

Good to know

  • Contains fragrance. Patch test if fragrance bothers your skin.
  • The acerola is an extract, not a vitamin C active; there’s no ascorbic acid on the list.
  • Comes in a 100 mL and a 180 mL jar.
